The culinary offerings are a celebration of bold flavors and Southern-inspired comfort food elevated to new heights. Notably, The Nook's iconic Shrimp and Grits Stuffed Burger™ has earned the prestigious title of People's Choice 'Best Burger' at the Battle of the Burgers. This decadent creation features a perfectly grilled patty stuffed with sautéed shrimp, smoked Gouda cheese, and Andouille sausage, crowned with a fried grit cake studded with the same rich ingredients and finished with a luscious smoked tomato beurre blanc sauce — a dish that creates a symphony of textures and tastes with every bite.

For those craving standout starters, the House Smoked Jumbo Wings are a must-try, offered with an enticing choice of signature sauces like Buffalo, Coca Cola BBQ, or Southern Comfort BBQ. The Mac & Cheese Bites present a heavenly crunch on the outside with gooey, comforting cheese inside, accompanied perfectly by the house's tangy Buffalo and Coca Cola BBQ sauces.

Tater tots are transformed into an art form here, with fan favorites like the Buffalo Totchos and Redneck Totcho leading the charge. These totchos deliver a satisfying crunch layered with flavorful toppings that ignite your taste buds. Several customers have praised these as “worth all of the hype,” offering a playful and nostalgic twist on classic bar bites.

The menu also shines with hearty sandwiches including the acclaimed Southern Comfort Burger and a savory Lamb Burger. On the lighter side, guests can enjoy the Veggie Burger or fresh salads, complemented by delectable sides such as the stellar bacon mac and cheese, Andouille sausage and gouda studded grit cakes, and crisp green beans. Every dish exemplifies thoughtful preparation and a perfect balance of richness and freshness.

Beyond the food, The Nook is beloved for its exceptional hospitality and community vibe. Reviewers consistently mention how the staff goes above and beyond — from fast, attentive service to dog-friendly touches like offering ice water for furry companions. The atmosphere encourages warmth and connection, whether you're sharing a game day with new friends or savoring a leisurely brunch paired with what some call "the best Bloody Mary you've ever had."

In sum, The Nook on Piedmont Park is much more than a restaurant — it’s a local gem that masterfully blends inventive cuisine, convivial ambiance, and impeccable service. Whether you're hunting for a juicy burger with a twist, savoring perfectly spiced wings, or indulging in their unique take on Southern classics, this is a destination that promises delicious satisfaction and an unforgettable dining experience in the heart of Atlanta.

I love The Nook. My bloody mary was awesome! The atmosphere was great, we sat outside in the covered dining area. Our server was great. I ordered the spicy hash which was delicious. My cousin ordered waffles and she loved them too. I'd definitely go back when I'm in Atlanta again. The Nook had a great vibe, reasonable prices, and great service.

We really liked this place. It's in a very convenient location right across from Piedmont Park. The staff is kind and the place is very dog-friendly—they even gave our dog ice water. The service was fast and good. We ordered the potato totchos, Cajun pasta, and shrimp and grits burger. The totchos were tasty, but there was only a small scoop of sour cream—I wish they used more. The Cajun pasta was heavenly with a delicious taste and a nice Cajun kick, but the amount of shrimp was disappointing—I wish they used more. The burger was delicious and filling, with smoky beef. We'll definitely return here again.

You have to try the totcho's, they're amazing! I had the pulled pork totcho's but what was absolutely amazing was the andouille grits! Service was great and the outside patio was great ambiance. Will definitely not think twice about coming back the next time we're in Atlanta!! Sallie L was great!

Kyra and Cammie, provided me with an amazing experience on my football Sunday! However, I didn’t realize that this was a Detroit, sports bar. The dranks flowed and I had an amazing time with my new friends. I’ll definitely be back and look forward to more great Nook game days! Go Lions!

Got there and the atmosphere was amazing, it was nice and chill and everyone seemed super happy just having a nice time. I got the tots and they were 10/10 worth all of the hype lol. There was a little bit of an incident where some water got spilt on my leg but the staff were super nice and helped with it and even sat there and just talked to u if they had time which in my opinion is awesome.

The food was good. We shared the chicken burger, Mac n cheese & nacho totchos. Would have like a bit more protein on the totchos but the overall, delicious!
